It's blooming annoying is what it is. What with everything going steeply up in price, we'll have to make our own entertainment! For example... I've rediscovered board games. Add a lovely bottle of Perry (Cider but made with pears I think!) and it's a hilarious game.
I suspect the powers that be don't want us to travel anywhere at all, or see or do anything we might possibly enjoy. For accommodation try the Universities - they used to rent out the halls of residence in the summer holidays for extra cash. Don't know whether they still do, but it's worth a try! more…
